
Bupa Hong Kong wins with 'No Fear' | Wednesday,23 Jun 2010
A series of Bupa Hong Kong TV commercials combining healthcare messages with humour has landed a top marketing award.
The advertisements, which highlight the fact that the Cantonese translation of the phrase 'Bu-pa' is 'No fear', saw our Hong Kong team pick up an Effie bronze award last month.
The unconventional 25-second films - unlike any previously broadcast by competitors - have been shown on TV and trains.
An Effie is an internationally acclaimed award regarded as the most significant honour in the advertising and marketing industry. Effie awards events are held in 33 countries around the world and fellow Hong Kong award winners included brands such as Ikea and McDonalds.
