A personal message from Tim Slee, Sales Director

A very warm welcome to our brand new Global View, the one-stop-shop for all the latest news and views from around Bupa and the markets in which we operate.

Through Global View we will communicate everything you need to know to ensure you are promoting and selling Bupa effectively. We want our new Global View to be your must read monthly publication, the first place you visit for health information, opinion, market information, guidance, marketing support and business updates. The objectives of Global View are:

  • To introduce new mechanics to allow 2-way communications between us
  • Bring a new editorial focus on health credentials and regional content to make it a 'must read' publication
  • Provide round the clock support through a new Global View support site

We appreciate you are very busy and receive a lot of emails every day - so why should this one stick out? Global View is the one communication platform through which we will communicate all Bupa business critical and nice to know information. Therefore in order to alert you to what must be read and that that can be saved until later, we have introduced "signposting" to Global View. A "must read" box will be put around each article of high importance, drawing your attention to it. Your Regional Sales Manager, Intermediary Sales Team and Partnership Advisory Team are all still on hand to help you, but Global View is the one platform through which all our business information is consolidated and shared.

So what do we need you to do in order to get the most out of Global View?

Why we have changed - Your new Global View

It really was time for a face lift wasn't it! Global Views has changed. Ok, so the publication title loses an "s", but it gains a more authoritative and focused edge as a result! "Global View" suggests we share one view and it opens up the opportunity of giving the publication a theme. Sections within it include Global View, Customer View, Your View, Our View - you get my drift!

Global Views was our monthly communication to you - a collection of articles about what was happening in our business and news we thought would help you sell and be of benefit to you and your business. We have had good feedback - it was a mechanism to enable us to speak to our Distributors regularly, but the time has come for change and improvement…

The thinking behind the new Global View

We are basing the new communications programme on these core principles:

  • Global View contains fact and opinion
  • Global View is about building relationships & sharing
  • Global View is about community
  • Global View works alongside existing channels - your Regional sales contacts, Intermediary Sales Team and Partnership Advisory Team, along with IntermediaryWorld and Producer.com also offer valuable help and advice

Microsite

Not just a brand new look and feel, the new Global View comes with its very own microsite. In addition to our other websites (IntermediaryWorld, Producer.com etc.) this is a communication website where all news can be published "as it happens". We don't have to wait to publish it in the monthly newsletter.

Timings

We'll send out newsletters at the very end or start of every month. We'll also continue to send you separate email alerts of breaking news as and when it happens.
